Cranbrook gets past Bishop Foley 67-52; Garner scores 28 points on Senior Night.

The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes pushed past the Madison Heights Bishop Foley Ventures 67-52 in a CHSL Wednesday night matchup. Cranbrook moves to 6-4 on the season, while Shrine moves to 4-4 for the year.

Senior Cam Garner had 28 points to lead all scorers in the Cranes in the win at home. Sophomore John Kersh contributed 13 points in a supporting role.

Junior Dylan Gough and sophomore Jackson Zeiter had 9 points each to lead the scoring for Bishop Foley.

The Cranes led from the start as Garner set a quick pace. Seniors Bryce Hall and Miles Pistner added to the scoring with put back rebounds and 3-point shooting. The Ventures found points beyond the arc as well but continued to trail in the match.

Cranbrook led 30-24 at the half.

The second half saw the Cranes soar high as Kersh and junior Brandon McCaskill added field goals from the perimeter. Seniors Dhilan Nagaraju and Graeme Gump also added key baskets as the Cranes pulled away in the final minutes of the game.

Cranbrook travels to meet Macomb Lutheran North on Friday, while Bishop Foley hosts Marine City Cardinal Mooney on Saturday.
