Dearborn 2020 WR Tommy Guajardo will be visiting ACC program, Syracuse University, this upcoming Saturday.

This will be the first visit to Syracuse for the 6’4” 230 lbs. junior ATH. A year ago, Guajardo was one of the most productive offensive players for Dearborn, racking up multiple touchdowns and hundreds of yards in receptions as a WR.

This season, Guajardo has returned to play multiple positions on offense, defense and special teams. At OLB and Safety, he is a tough, instinctive player who is excellent against the run and also shows incredible athleticism to drop and cover as well. With his massive size, speed and ball skills, he is just a nightmare for opposing offensive coordinators. Offensively, there is almost no position that Guajardo can’t be plugged into successfully because of his consistent explosiveness and quick adaptability.

On the recruiting front, Guajardo currently holds 2 Division 1 FBS offers from Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan and is hearing from multiple programs in the Big 10, SEC and ACC as a priority 2020 recruit.

With his ability to play in multiple offenses and defenses, his football IQ and the motor he plays with, we think he is a player many programs will be paying close attention to for the rest of this season.

Guajardo is ranked as the #26 prospect in Michigan’s class of 2020.
