Dearborn 2020 WR Tommy Guajardo will be visiting Big 12 program, Iowa State, this upcoming Saturday.

The 6’3” 215 lbs. WR/ATH continues to impress this off-season and there just isn’t much this young man does not do at a high level, even as a sophomore. He can really high-point the ball well and there is no one that has been able to out jump him on a fade route, which makes him the go-to guy in the red zone. He wants the ball and he just makes plays.

Guajardo recently landed another major championship with his 7v7 team, Legacy Detroit, last weekend as they were crowned winners of the Legacy Football League 2018 Michigan State Championship. Legacy is the state’s premier 7v7 league and there were 26 teams and over 400 skill players in competition. Guajardo was also recently invited to compete for a spot on the U.S. National Football Team which is governed by the U.S. Olympic Committee.

This will be Guajardo’s 1st visit to Iowa State. He commented on his visit: “I am incredibly excited to be able to take a trip out to Ames and meet the coaches and see what it’s like to be a Cyclone. I’ll be taking several visits to other schools over spring break, but this particular invitation is one that I was really happy to say yes to.”
