Western Michigan didn't go far to bring in their 10th instate commit in the Class of 2015 and #20 overall commit according to BroncoBlitz.com.

Grand Rapids Ottawa Hills which is located in southern Grand Rapids is a quick drive to Kalamazoo and that is where Sam Beal traveled to attend Western Michigan's camp, a few days later he was informed of the offer. Beal who used to live in Kalamazoo would commit a few hours later once Western Michigan offered on Monday. Beal will enter Western Michigan as an "ATH," he'll see the field either at WR or DB, which will be determined later.

- How it felt receiving offer and committing the same day - "I mean, it really wasn't any second guessing. They're giving me that chance I want and I took it."

- How Western Michigan became the team to land his commitment - "When I attended the camp just last week I showcased my talents, that was good enough to receive an offer."

- Thoughts on campus and city of Kalamazoo - "I took a visit like a couple weeks before I attended the camp and their campus was great and I use to live in Kalamazoo and I'm very familiar with the city."

- How Beal fits playing for Western Michigan - "To be honest where ever they decide to place me I will make sure they won't regret doing it. I'm confident behind my decision on being a Bronco."

- How Beal plans to develop relationship with other WMU commits - "Well I have to start by getting myself involved with the team, there is not a guarantee that I could earn friends with teammates just because I'm on the team I have to earn my stripes."

- What Beal is looking forward to this upcoming season and vs. WMU commit, Jon Wassink - "Well my team is preparing to fight to the very end with any team that steps foot on the field with us. Jon is a very good QB and it will be fun playing against a future Bronco like me. I also hope to play Defense that game as well."

- Closing thoughts / comments - "Yeah I just wanna thank God for giving me this blessing and also the WMU family for making me a part of their team # RTB."
