West Bloomfield 2018 S Nick Seidel a true team leader has 70 tackles & 7 interceptions

West Bloomfield 2018 S Nick Seidel has been a monster so far this year for the West Bloomfield Lakers. In a team loaded with Division 1 - FBS athletes across the board, Seidel has been just as productive as anyone in the state of Michigan.

In our stats database, Seidel tops the state among Defensivebacks with 70 tackles and also 7 interceptions. Seidel's ball-hawk mentality and instincts are apparent but we asked Lakers Head Coach - Ron Bellamy to talk more from an inside perspective about one of his teams captains. Seidel holds an FCS offer from Morehead State, NAIA offer from Lawrence Tech, and DIII roster spot from Chicago.

Bellamy commented on the leadership traits of his senior captain, "Nick Seidel is one of the best leaders I have been around. Off the field Nick carries a 4.2 gpa and always offering help tutoring his varsity teammates or our lower levels. Nick is a member of our mentorship program and National Honor Society."

Bellamy continued, "On the field, Nick is an extension of our coaching staff. He lines our defense up and is a constant positive motivator to his teammates. Nick is very encouraging and always playing with great effort and intensity."
