Pershing grad Kay Felder who was recently signed by the Detroit Pistons set to have number retired tonight (Story)

Tonight at Pershing's basketball game vs. DEPA, 2013 graduate Kay Felder will have his number 20 retired at Pershing high school.

Pershing starred for the Doughboys and as a senior won the PSL player of the year award and was a part of the 2012-2013 City Championship team.

Felder recently signed signed a 1-year contract with the Detroit Pistons.

Felder, an Oakland University graduate was drafted #54 overall in the 2016 NBA Draft.

"Blessings on blessings, words can’t express the way i feel right now," said Felder. "Being able to sign for my hometown team and my high school jersey being retired Tuesday! I can’t do nothing but Thank God and stay prayed up."

According to Branden Hunter, Felder will be the first Pershing player to have his number retired.
