Millington 2018 LB Briar Bearss flips commitment to Army

Millington 2018 LB Briar Bearss on Thursday evening flipped his verbal commitment from Michigan Tech University to the United States Army Academy.

The Linebacker committed to Michigan Tech in mid-December and on the same day received an offer from Army.

Briar was a different beast this fall for the Cardinals helping them to a 10-2 record and a District Championship. He doubled as a RB and played LB.

Briar had 227 career tackles in his three year varsity career including 113 this season. Along with seven sacks and five interceptions as a Senior.

Bearss will join two others from Michigan who head to Army in the Class of 2018: Henry Janeway - Eisenhower and Drew Kraatz - Standish-Sterling.
