Grand Rapids Catholic Central 2018 C Jacob Polakovich picks up an offer from Lake Superior State University

Grand Rapids Catholic Central 2018 6'8 Center Jacob Polakovich was offered by Lake Superior State University yesterday.

Polakovich is one of the most productive big men in the state regardless of class, and there are very few weaknesses to his game. He is an absolute bruiser inside, has good touch around the rim and rebounds his area very well.

He also is an excellent passer from anywhere on the floor, especially from the low post when defenses try to double team him. More than just a traditional big man, Polakovich is also very comfortable shooting from three spotted up or off of pick and pops.

The Lakers are the 6th program to offer Polakovich, who is one of the most sought after prospects for D2 schools in the area. D1s have also been monitoring him closely, and a D1 offer could be forthcoming as well.
