Flint Carman-Ainsworth 2018 5'10 point guard Ja'Kavien Lewis announced his college decision today, and he has committed to the Northwood Timberwolves.

This was a massive pickup for Northwood, who snagged what was one of their top recruiting targets for awhile.

Lewis is a tough, scrappy point guard who can have a huge affect on games in a variety of ways. He is best as a defensive stopper who creates havoc on the perimeter with his lockdown on ball defense, or as a playmaker feeding teammates. In recent months though, he has shown that he can be relied upon as a shooter and scorer.

These improvements will only help Lewis acclimate quicker to the college game next season, and he should be one of the top incoming perimeter recruits into the GLIAC next season.
