Mike Weber who is an explosive 5'10" 205 lbs RB from Cass Tech High School in Detroit, MI received his 10th offer of the process and first offer in the year 2014, after 9 offers in 2013 - the last being North Carolina State on December 4th. This afternoon the Boilermakers from Purdue University became the 10th school to offer Mike Weber, who was an instrumental piece of Cass Tech winning the Division 1 title as a Sophomore. Weber was taking a visit this weekend to the University of Tennessee and that's currently his only SEC offer. Weber was able to talk about his 7th Big 10 offer soon after getting the offer.

Weber's offer from Purdue was quite unexpected as Purdue has started to hit Michigan more in recent years but not really Cass Tech prior to today. "It was unexpected but appreciated. I'm looking at things a little different," replied Weber when he found out that Purdue offered him.

With Purdue being the new kid on the block in terms of Mike Weber's recruiting process, Weber is looking to forward to learning more about the University located in West Lafayette, Indiana - "I never really talked to any of the coaches nor know any of them but getting a relationship with them would be good to get into," responded Weber when asked how he felt with the coaches and program of Purdue.

Now that half of the Big 10 has offered Mike Weber, he has plenty of local options, Weber described how Purdue will impact his college decision, "The offer impact's my recruiting because it's another school to look into and see if it's the school that fits me."
