First and foremost I am student of the game with a strong commitment to character. I have been told that I have high game IQ combined with Explosive athleticism. I am a "late bloomer" whose high school stats have consistently improved each year. My vertical and lateral quickness provide for my ability to score from inside and outside the paint.
Smooth, combined with explosive vertical and lateral speed. A student of the game, coachable, a deep sense of character and a solid work ethic.
I have been called a surprise late bloomer following a deep play-off run last season. At the conclusion of my junior season I committed myself to lead my team further into the High School post season with the goal of a State Championship. I continue to put in the time and effort to develop my offensive shooting, dribbling, passing, and dunking in addition to working on my defensive footwork and transition speed. I look forward to my senior year the opportunities it will bring for myself and my team.
Playing college basketball has been a rather back-burnered desire. However, this desire began to transform into a reality in the second half of the my junior season. As our team approached the postseason, the the coaching staff began to play me more minutes each game finishing the season as starter and high scorer through the playoffs. The local television sportscasters and sports writers referred to me a surprise "late bloomer". However, inside I knew I just needed the opportunity. My passion for this sport continues to parallel my performance and I look forward to carrying that onto college.
