On the football field I create energy.  My teammates and even the crowd feed off of my ability to push and drive for the extra yard or stoppage of opponent.  I am told I am a throwback player even by referees.  It is not enough to just form tackle, I want to punish within the rules. Tackle through the whistle and not anticipate the whistle.  I love to earn tough yards in the middle.  Equally, it is just as satisfying to lay a downfield block to spring my teammate for bigger gains.  No one will ever have to encourage me to "leave it all on the field".  If I can do my 1/11th and aid my team further I will exhaust myself in that effort.  I love this game, it is in my soul to make an impact every down.  So what separates me from other on the field?  I am the guy that is flying into battle when the whistle is about to blow.  I am not the guys who are coasting to a stop at the near end of the play.   That makes all the difference.

I am a smart player that understands coverage and coaching tendency.  I can read an offensive lineman and gain a step.  I am coachable and desire to learn even the small steps that can improve my game and vision.   I hit very hard and pursue and scrape very well.  I play to win every down.  My nose for and ability to react to the ball sets me apart.   I play the game to win the game within all of my knowledge and skill and instincts.

My freshman season I played four games as a Frosh and moved to JV for the final four season games.   I led my J.V. Squad with tackles and only played four games.  I want to earn a look this year at Linebacker on our Varsity Squad.  We have a lot of returning talent I am eager to join and accent.  I know as well being in a Southwestern Michigan High School will not afford me very many looks for college compared to the East Side.  I must make a impact on the field and in Camps and Combines.  I plan to be All-State, I plan to play in the All Star game.  Hunter Williamson Class of 2020 is going somewhere!

I intend to play at the next level.  I intend to use my abilities on the field to afford myself a reasonable education.  I feel I can play at any level if given the opportunity and be able to make an impact.  I am very eager to learn what is out there.
