The 3rd day of the Xenith Prep Kickoff Classic at Wayne State University was absolutely loaded with college talent and all eyes were in Detroit on Saturday.

Madison Heights beat Center Line 60-6

Marshall baseball commit Austin Brown threw for 1 touchdown and rushed for 2 touchdowns in a half and a little bit of 3rd quarter action. 2019 RB Khyron Franklin had 3 rushing touchdowns as well for the Eagles. Center Line 2019 DE/TE Davon Sears had a blocked punt which he returned for a touchdown and also had a forced fumble that was called back from a penalty in the 2nd quarter.

Cass Tech beat River Rouge 40-7

Senior runningbacks, Jaren Mangham and Lewis Nichols each scored 2 rushing touchdowns as Cass Tech scored 40 straight points on Saturday. 2019 RB Jordan Lowe and 2020 QB Sebastian Brown also added rushing touchdowns for Cass Tech. Daraun McKinney was sensational for River Rouge with a 98-yard punt return that was called back for a touchdown, McKinney extracted revenge later in the game with a nice cut-back run that he took 55 yards to the house.

Detroit King beat East Saint Louis (Illinois) 52-38

The Detroit King Crusaders followed Cass Tech and River Rouge on Saturday evening and once the Crusaders got going, there was nothing East St. Louis could do, to stop King. CMU commit Dequan Finn accounted for 6 touchdowns (3 passing and 3 rushing), 2019 WR Dominick Hannah caught 2 touchdown passes and 1 took a kickoff return for a touchdown. 2020 WR/DB Lemuel Watley had 2 interceptions and 1 forced fumble.
