This is the third installment of our 2023 West Michigan prospect rankings. If you missed it, check out the players ranked 21-25 and 16-20. Next Monday we'll jump back in with the top 10.

11. Anthony Sydnor III, G, Muskegon

Anthony is one of the more hard-nosed guards in the area due to the fearlessness he plays with. This trait is easily noticeable when Anthony drives the lane and finishes through contact. He’s one of the best guards in the area at finishing shots through a crowd, which Anthony seems to embrace as he routinely gets to the free-throw line. Anthony has a solid hesitation move and a polished floater game, making him a tough guard. Anthony can also knock down perimeter jumpers and thrives in catch-and-shoot situations. Defensively, Anthony has great lateral quickness and does a good job of applying pressure on opposing ball handlers.

12. Jake DeHaan, G, South Christian

Jacob's play last season didn't resemble that of a sophomore, running point for a South Christian team that was one of the best teams in the area all season. Jacob's poise on the court is noticeable, which seems to give his teammates confidence as well. He has a knockdown jumper from the perimeter, can finish through a crowd in the paint, and has a quick read when setting up his teammates with quality looks. As he enters his junior season, I expect Jacob to be one of the leaders for what should be another highly talented South Christian team.

13. Jy'Air Harris, East Kentwood

Jy'Air's game seemed to be just scratching the surface of what his potential could be down the road, as he showed glimpses of a lockdown defensive player and a threat to knock down jump shots with consistency from the perimeter. Jy'Air reacts very well in the paint on the defensive end, showing off his athleticism and swatting shots at its apex. He uses his length in that regard, and in defending dribble drives. Another facet I like about Jy'Air's game is his motor. His energy on both ends of the court leads to extra scoring opportunities. Expect Jy'Air to lead an emerging East Kentwood group in contention for the OK Red title next season.

14. Charlie Deutsch, Rockford

Charlie was a big-time contributor for a Rockford team that took home the OK Red title this past season. He has good size for his age and uses it to his advantage to get quality looks in the paint. Charlie has displayed good footwork and an ability to create space to get his shot off in a crowded area. He has nice touch on his shots from 10 feet in and has shown an ability to take his defender off the dribble. With Rockford graduating a couple of key senior contributors, expect Charlie to help bridge the gap and help the Rams contend for another OK Red title in 2021-22.

15. Mason Dykstra, Hudsonville

The foundation of Mason's game are qualities that typically aren't seen in players his age. Specifically speaking, Mason is deliberate when he gets the ball in the paint. His first-step almost looks pre-determined by the way in which he operates around the basket. He uses his size well and has a number of low-post moves he uses to put up quality shots. Defensively, his ability to take away angles from would-be cutters helps Hudsonville create turnovers and get out on the break. Offensively, Mason also finds opportune angles and cuts to the basket with purpose. As Mason continues to develop and refine his game, he should be a consistent scoring option for Hudsonville in his junior season.
