Best Win: Harper Creek over Lakeview 71-47

Both Harper Creek and Lakeview returned most of their production from last season and entered this season as potential breakout teams. Lakeview entered the game 4-1 with their lone loss to Kalamazoo Central while Harper Creek was 2-1 coming off a double-digit loss to Marshall. The Beavers of Harper Creek dismantled Lakeview on the road by 24 points to earn a signature win. Harper Creek will be a team to keep an eye on in the Interstate Eight conference along with Pennfield, Coldwater, and Marshall.
