  • Holland Christian escaped an upset bid from Hamilton defeating the Hawkeyes by five points. The Maroons getting out to a 15-4 start in the game was crucial as they were unable to expand on that lead with Hamilton making a run in the second half.

Catholic Central 69, Kenowa Hills 58

  • Catholic Central was able to overcome a 14 point halftime deficit on senior night to defeat Kenowa Hills. Junior guard Kaden Brown led the Cougars with 24 points and 6 assists while Jack Karasinski chipped in 19 points and Durral Brooks had 14 points. Junior break-out star Javion Otten scored 26 points in the loss for Kenowa Hills.

Phoenix 63, Howardsville Chr. 34

  • Phoenix improves to (8-4) with an easy victory over Howardsville Christian. With Phoenix playing an independent schedule it is always difficult to pinpoint how they will fare in the district tournament.

Benton Harbor 78, Berrien Springs 59

  • The Tigers of Benton Harbor have picked up four straight victories with their win over Berrien Springs. Senior guard Trucel Singleton led Benton Harbor with 20 points while Marlon Williams added 18 points. Benton Harbor will close the regular season out with Loy Norrix and Wyoming next week.

Vicksburg 60, Plainwell 49

  • Vicksburg earns their third victory in their past four games. The Bulldogs are playing their best basketball of the season at the moment and will be back in action on Tuesday hosting Hackett Catholic.

Hartford 71, Marcellus 48

Centreville 88, Bloomingdale 33

  • Centreville remains in first place of the Southwest 10 with a bounce-back victory over Bloomingdale. Tyler Swanwick and Mason Lemings led Centreville with 18 points each. The Bulldogs will host Marcellus on Friday with a one-game advantage over Cassopolis in the standings.

Cassopolis 64, Mendon 23

  • One of the longest current winning streaks in the area is now up to 13 games with Cassopolis defeating Mendon. The Rangers were led by Malachi Ward with 19 points while Logan Pflug added 18 points. Cassopolis has two games left on the schedule in the regular season. They will host White Pigeon tomorrow in another key game to stay within the game of Centreville in the standings.
