West Michigan Roundup, Monday 12/27/21

As Christmas is now in the rearview mirror, many teams are taking part in holiday showcases and tournaments. Three main tournaments featured West Michigan teams including the Motor City Roundball Classic, Earl McKee Tournament in Benton Harbor, and then the highly frequented Cornerstone Holiday Tournament.

Best Win: Catholic Central over U-D Jesuit 80-66

In their second game of the season, Catholic Central handled a very talented Jesuit team by 14 points. The Cougars were led by senior wing Jack Karasinski’s 21 points, senior guard Jorden Brooks added 19 points and 6 rebounds while junior guard Kaden Brown also had 19 points and 5 assists. Catholic Central will now face Grand Blanc on Thursday at Van Andel Arena for Jam at the Van.
