The D Zone Showstoppers from over the weekend
The D Zone had an active weekend as normal, evaluating plenty of talent including dozens of Division 1 prospects. We started off at Rising Stars 7on7 Tournament on Saturday and wound up finishing strong with the workout on Sunday.
The Showstoppers are our top performers, like 247 has their Alpha Dogs. We have Showstoppers.
Saturday:
7on7 Offensive Showstopper - Earnest Sanders -- Quick bite: The Beecher product was unreal, continues to show he's the best vertical receiver in the state and showed various routes and ability to fight through physical coverage.
7on7 Defensive Showstopper - Alec Ward -- Quick bite: Always one of the most productive players and with RS Grey winning the tournament, Ward was a big play waiting to happen on both sides of the ball all day.
Sunday:
Workout Showstopper - Giovanni El-Hadi -- Quick bite: The Stevenson 2021 OT should blow up once film and word spreads about how dominant he was vs. great competition tonight. Very good technique and hsize at 6'6 285. By the end of the night, he put himself in conversation among the best of a stacked 2021 recruiting class in Michigan.
