The D Zone predicts the Edwardsburg vs. River Rouge game

Semi-Final #2:

#20 River Rouge will face off vs. Edwardsburg in a battle of heavyweights. The Eddies were 2-3 plays away from sending Muskegon home last year so despite the disparity in the rankings, this should be a great game. River Rouge will need to cut down on the penalties if they come out victorious, but they have the pieces all around on offense and defense to make up for lost plays. River Rouge has the most dangerous return man in the state in Daraun McKinney and Cranbrook didn't let him do much. Edwardsburg runs wing-t and we're not shocked they beat Lansing Sexton, but we are shocked they did so convincingly.

Prediction: River Rouge 33-30

Explanation: Both teams have the athletes and personnel to exploit the other where it hurts. This is a semi-final of two teams who deserve to be playing for a state title.
