Saturday, Division 3 Round 3 2017 Playoffs Recap, Muskegon embarrasses DeWitt
Updated Brackets and Semi-Final Locations
Region 1:
#2 Muskegon just straight up dominated DeWitt after a 21-0 1st quarter, 3 interceptions by Will Shanks in the 2nd quarter (one a pick-six), and a running clock for the entire 2nd half.
Region 2:
East Lansing led 13-0 going into the 4th quarter, but the unbeaten Beavers of Harper Creek had other plans as Noah Bauserman scored a touchdown in the final minute to give BCHC their first lead of the game, 16-13. Bauserman intercepted a Trojans pass with .12 seconds remaining to book a date in the semi-finals.
Region 3:
Riverview had 2 players, Zach Warlick and Zach Guthrie hit 100+ rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns in their upset win over Divine Child. Michigan State bound Theo Day day had over 300 yards of offense in the loss. Riverview being an underdog the last 2 games will be happy to be labeled the underdog another 2 more games.
Region 4:
Farmington Hills Harrison elite CB Rod Heard has been equally impressive running the ball as he had over 230 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns in the Hawks win over Linden.
