The third week of the season is the start of many conferences games across the state and the renewal of rivalry games.

The D Zone staff on Friday, will be at: Farmington Hills Harrison at Oak Park, Swan Valley at Freeland, and Detroit Central at Denby.

Below are the prospects we're aware of entering the game. We look forward to discovering more talent.

Farmington HIlls Harrison:

2019 CB Roderick Heard is ranked by The D Zone as the #14 recruit in Michigan's class of 2019 and that results in being the #1 CB in the state as well. Heard has strong coverage skills and is playing QB/RB after helping lead the Hawks to the Division 3 state finals as a junior in 2017. Heard is committed to Northwestern as a CB.

2019 OT/DE Maverick Hansen is ranked by The D Zone as the #30 recruit in the class of 2019 as Hansen is a ferocious high-motored player who gets it done on both sides of the ball. Hansen is committed to Central Michigan.

2019 CB Xavier Goldsmith is the #61 ranked player in the class of 2019 and is the newest Hawk after transferring to Harrison before the season. Goldsmith is a skin-tight cover corner. Goldsmith is committed to Colorado State.

2019 TE/DE Caleb Williams holds several NAIA offers and is a hard-nosed 6'4 220 lbs prospect, who is a nice pass/blocking TE prospect.

2019 ATH Ben Williams is an outstanding football player at 5'8 165 lbs with blazing speed. Williams is a player with minimal interest now but has big-time playmaking abilities.

Oak Park:

2019 QB Dwan Mathis is the #13 ranked prospect in the class of 2019, as the Ohio State commit had a nice summer, competing in the Nike Elite 11 and is a quarterback with elite athleticism.

2019 RB/CB Torriano Richardson is the #64 ranked prospect in the class of 2019, as Richardson is a speedy prospect who has drawn some MAC offers but remains uncommitted.

2020 OL/DL/LB Justin Rogers is the #1 ranked prospect by The D Zone in the Class of 2020 as Rogers is just a freak athlete at 6'4 305 lbs. Rogers also started playing MLB for the Knights, which is mind-blowing.

2020 WR/DB Enzo Jennings is the #6 ranked prospect in the Class of 2020 by The D Zone. Jennings who is 6'2 190 lbs is ranked as one of the best ATH's in the country as well as he holds offers from schools like: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, and Big 10 offers.

2020 WR/ATH Maliq Carr is the #19 ranked prospect in the class of 2020 as Carr is a great athlete with 6'5 215 lbs size, which makes him a player you need to account for pre-snap and worry about his length. Carr was ejected in OP's week 2 game so is unable to play in week 3.

2020 DT Don Price is a high-motored 6' 300 lbs DT prospect and is ranked by The D Zone as the #40 prospect by The D Zone in the class of 2020. Price is a player who should continue to draw much more interest.

2019 CB Corion Montgomery is a long and lengthy prospect with strong Division II interest.

2021 RB Travis Boston is an upcoming RB prospect looking to breakout at Oak Park. Boston will be a 4-year varsity contributor for the Knights.

Swan Valley:

2020 OL/DL Carson Berenyi is a ferocious presence on the line for Swan Valley at 6'2 240 lbs and has insane numbers in the weight room. Berenyi despite having no offers at this point, is the #30 ranked prospect in the Class of 2020 by The D Zone.

2019 QB Alex Fries is a 6'2 185 lbs QB who throws well and has good mobility. Will be a D2/NAIA player in college.

2019 OT/DT Rorey Garner is a 6' 265 tough and hard-nosed prospect with a good base that will draw a lot of interest from D2, D3, and NAIA programs.

2019 MLB/FB Matt Pike holds an offer from Concordia-Ann Arbor. The 5'9 210 pounder is the teams most valuable player.

2019 RB/OLB DeOndric Sanders is an D1-FCS/D2 tweener who is 6' 185 lbs and well put together.

2019 ATH Terryon Liddell is the Vikings most dynamic athlete and absolute game-changer. Liddell is 5'10 165 lbs and plays CB, WR, and RB. He's the one player that Freeland will need to identify pre-snap, all game long.

2020 WR/DB Ethan Champney is an under the radar 6'3 180 lbs Receiver / Defensive Back prospect with very good speed and is waiting to have his coming out party.

Freeland:

2019 WR/OLB Jack Townsend is the Falcons most dynamic playmaker who is used all over the field on both sides of the ball. At 6'4 185 lbs, he's not hard to miss but is certainly the player Swan Valley needs to know where he's at.

2019 FB/LB Layne Moergeli a hard-nosed is 5'11 200 lbs prospect who we expect to see a lot of tonight.

2019 WR/TE Jayce Bourcier is a 6'5 180 and is most likely a basketball recruit.

Denby:

2019 DE Adrian Brown is a 6'2 230 lbs prospect who recently got his first offer from Urbana (D2).

2019 MLB Ty’Metrius Patterson is a solid prospect who is extremely under the radar at this point.

2019 DT Jermaine Trammell is a high motor 5'11 260 lbs DT prospect who is generating Division 1 interest.

2019 OC Jaivon Preston is a 6'2 305 lbs OC prospect who holds Concordia and Urbana offers.

2019 OT Louie Curtis is a 6'5 310 lbs prospect.

Central:

2019 DT Victor Nelson is ranked by The D Zone as the #91 player in the class of 2019 as Nelson is a beast in the trenches and has 3 sacks in 2 games.

2021 CB/WR Jus’tyz Tuggle as a sophomore has been the Trailblazers biggest offensive threat with just under 200 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns in 2 games.
