Prospects Recap from Bellaire and Forest Area (Story)
The Forest Area Warriors were without their best player Hunter Perkins for the first half in this 8-man game, when he came onto the field in the 2nd half, it was a whole new energy level. Forest Area led Bellaire 16-8 at half and built a 30-16 lead after 3 quarters which is when The D Zone left to another game. Forest Area beat Bellaire 36-24 in this 8-man football game.
We'll break down their performances below:
Forest Area:
2019 MLB Hunter Perkins is a 6' 205 lbs tackling machine for the Warriors we seen on film ahead of the game and despite only playing in the 2nd half, Perkins is a high-motored player who moves well and plays with high energy. Perkins had the most tackles on the team with 8, he also finished with a forced fumble and a sack.
2020 RB/OLB Eric Burke is a 5'11 180 lbs player who was key for the Warriors in the first half as he had a lot of tough early runs that really opened up things for other teammates. On defense in the first half he played the MLB role and when Perkins came in the 2nd half, he moved down to a DE. Burke had 34 carries for 183 yards and 1 touchdown. On defense he had 5 tackles, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
Bellaire:
2020 RB/Slot Connor Niepoth was the top skill position player for the Eagles ahead of the game, and definitely showed he was with some good catches throughout the game and had a nice touchdown reception with impressive yards after catch. Niepoth is a around 5'10 but has good hands.
2020 QB Luke Niepoth is a 3-year starter for the Eagles, he made some tough throws under pressure and was really accurate with his passes.
