This upcoming March marks the 25th year of the new millennium. We survived Y2K, the Nostradamus 2012 predictions and many other unforeseen things.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve been to every boys basketball semifinal and final at the Breslin Center, falling in love with the game in the process.

Here’s a look back at the past 25 years, recognizing the schools who have made the most Breslin Center trips since our calendars read 2000:

Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian - 5 state championships, 5 runners-up, 3 semifinal losses

Flint Beecher - 7 state championships, 4 runners-up, 2 semifinal losses
