Lake Orion and Saginaw Valley State graduate, Jeff Heath made NFL history on Sunday evening for the Dallas Cowboys.

The local product filled in for the Cowboys injured kicker, Dan Bailey and Heath was up to the task in the Cowboys 40-10 win over San Francisco.

Heath is the starting Safety for the Cowboys, but also contributed on special teams with 2 PAT conversions, which is where history was made as the PAT attempts are 34-yards out which was the longest by a non-kicker since 1979.
