The Catholic League - Central schedule kicks off with 2 of the top teams this year. Both teams have been hitting on all cylinders through 3 weeks of the season and appear on their way to have long seasons.

Below are the prospects we're aware of entering the game. We look forward to discovering more talent.

Brother Rice:

2023 RB Nolan Ray - Is having a breakout junior season and has earned a few offers in the process. Strong and workhorse type RB who is the next great RB to come out of Brother Rice.

2023 QB Hunter Polonkey - Stepped in this year after an injury to last seasons starting QB Jake Coulter. Phenomenal athlete and can command the offense like he's a seasoned veteran. All-American lacrosse player who should draw football attention based on how good he is.

2023 OT Eryx Daugherty - Athletic and raw OT prospect who earned his first two D1-FBS offers this summer after transferring in this off-season from Lutheran Northwest.

2022 WR Cole Lacanaria - Dangerous receiver who can catch anything and runs crisp routes. He can go up and get anything while also having the ability to make people miss in space.

2022 OLB/DE Ryan Ervin - An injury ended his junior prematurely so colleges are wanting to see him this year before his interest picks up more. He holds a half-dozen NAIA offers/D-III roster spots now. 6'2 210.

2022 WR/S Tommy Labruzzy - Impressive the last time we saw him last season, 6'3 185 lbs.

2022 DE Luke Sands - Strong edge presence at 6'3 215 who should see more interest through this year.

2023 DT/OG Christian Peters - Started last year as a sophomore at OG and continues to improve. A versatile player who has the tools to play multiple positions on the OL and plays with a good motor.

2024 WR Xavier Bowman - Played last year as a freshman and is seeing his role increase now and been great so far this year. He picked up his first 2 D1 offers this off-season.

2023 LB/DE Andrew LaBarre - Versatile player at 6'1 215 who can lineup all across the DL or as a linebacker. Physical player who sheds blocks and is regularly disrupting plays.

2023 TE/WR Henry Garrity - Scored a receiving touchdown in the first game as a sophomore last year and things only have gone up from there as he also had a basketball season for Brother Rice and AAU - The Family.

2022 OC Dontez Fuller - A solid center prospect who had a very good junior year, anchors the OL, and is a great leader. 6'2 270.

2022 DT Matt Hendi - A strong and high-motored player with good technique that does his job well. Holds strong D-III interest now.

2023 OLB/RB Andre Cade - A physical specimen who missed his sophomore year due to an injury and is expected to have a breakout junior year.

2022 MLB Jackson Minelli - Excellent at finding and getting to the ball. Good playmaker who gets in the backfield often. He has strong D-III interest now.

2023 S Alfredo Velazquez - Played last year as a sophomore and showed good instincts and ball skills.

2022 CB Ethan Swider - 6' 170 lbs DB who has strong D-III interest now and is a solid prospect.

2025 RB Vegas Seay - Upcoming RB who is up on varsity as a Freshman.

De La Salle:

2022 LB Will Beesley - The Princeton commit is one of the most productive players in the state and is coming off of a big junior season. He's a sure tackler who explodes to the ball.

2023 DE Mason Muragin - 6'4 235 lbs pass-rushing terror off the edge. He's off to a fast start to his junior year with 4 TFL in 2 games and visited Michigan State this past weekend.

2022 CB Dionte Dandridge - Holds around a half-dozen offers and is a solid cover corner who also has some nice physical tools.

2022 RB/CB DeNiro Johnson - Has provided a big spark on offense for the Pilots this year. He's provided some explosive plays and done well blocking as well.

2024 RB/OLB Rhett Roeser - Was a standout last year as a freshman, so he definitely is a better player now with more experience. A physical player who can move well and run, block, and catch the ball out of different sets.

2023 QB Brady Drogosh - After splitting snaps last season, the offense is all led by Drogosh now and he's been off to a fast start this year. He has a great arm and can run.

2023 WR Triston Nichols - Dual-sport athlete who already has offers in basketball and should draw some football interest following this season.

2022 WR Alton McCullum - Sure-handed slot receiver who is a vertical threat as well as stretching the field with sweeps. Holds strong D-III interest now.

2022 DT/OL Noah Dobbs - Good moving lineman who can move around on the line and play different positions. Has a strong motor and we saw him make a very athletic interception last season.

2022 OC Tevon Mixon - A solid center prospect at 6'3 305 who had a great off-season and should receive good college interest this year.

2022 OT Jeffrey Roskopp - Outstanding lineman who explodes out of his stanch and lays big blocks. Also can move upfield and block on the next level. 6'1 240.

2022 OG Kadin Featherstone - Very balanced lineman who does a lot at 6'2 260 and moves well. Holds NAIA and D-III interest now.

2023 WR Jack Yanachik - Athletic and tall receiver at 6'3 who has very strong ball skills.

2022 TE Gavin Grzywacz - Hard-nosed player who blocks well and can also make plays catching the ball. 6'1 215.

2022 P Michael Bucci - Strong-legged punter with D-III interest.

2023 OT/OG Brendan Dignan - 6'6 285 lbs prospect who looked good in camps this off-season we saw him at and will be a name to know going forward.

2023 WR Brian White II - 6'3 athlete who was playing JV quarterback last year, but will be someone to watch for the future.

2023 WR/CB Javon Williams - Makes the move from JV to varsity this year and already picked up a Lawrence Tech offer from the summer.

2023 S Griffin Phillips - Missed last year due to an injury but is a player to watch when healthy.
