Game Preview and Prospects The D Zone will be seeing in All Saints and Peck (Story)
Edit: Due to a schedule change, we are now covering Algonac vs. Almont on Thursday instead of this game.
This conference game features two of the top three teams in the North Central Thumb 8-Man League - Stripes division so far. Peck is 3-0 and defeated Hale who reached the 3rd round of the playoffs last year. All Saints only loss is to another top team in the division, North Huron.
Below are the prospects we're aware of entering the game. We look forward to discovering more talent.
All Saints:
2022 QB/S Brendan Van Sumeren - 4-year varsity player for All Saints who has good football instincts and athleticism.
2023 LB/RB Ryan McDonell - A downhill type player who runs hard and can close the gaps. Also can get out to the outside and make plays.
Peck:
2023 QB Caleb Lentner - QB leads a run-heavy offense and has 9 rushing TD's through 3 weeks. Currently being recruited for other sports.
2022 RB Nathan Robar - He is coming off 2 straight games of running for over 200 rushing yards in each game.
