The D Zone will be covering this Friday evening game as #13 Clarkston (7-1) hosts #15 Oak Park (7-1) both teams are winners of their OAA Division, Clarkston - Red and Oak Park - White. Clarkston will head to the Division 1 playoffs the following week as they'll look to defend their Division 1 State Championship from 2017 while Oak Park will head to Division 2 and they'll look to make a run after falling in the Regionals last year.

Below are the prospects we're aware of entering the game. We look forward to discovering more talent.

Clarkston:

2021 OL Garrett Dellinger is the #3 ranked prospect in the Class of 2021 by The D Zone as Dellinger is a 6'6 255 lbs monster in the trenches. Dellinger spent the entire off-season by playing high school and AAU basketball so is definitely improving his burst and athletic abilities. Holds 5 offers including; Michigan State, Michigan, and Ohio State.

2021 OL Rocco Spindler is ranked at #5 in the Class of 2021 and is 6'4 250 lbs. Spindler had high expectations as a Freshman and more than met them by being an all-around great blocker and ability to get up field and block the next level. Spindler holds the same offers that Dellinger has.

2019 K/P Tristan Mattson is the next excellent kicker/punter to come out of Clarkston as the Wolves have been producing all-state and highly regarded kickers/punters. Mattson is committed to Buffalo and will be a key piece in this game.

2019 QB Jake Jensen is a dual-sport athlete who also played on the Wolves Class A basketball state championship team in 2018. Jensen 6'2 170 lbs has been impressive with 1 year of playing Varsity, he recently got his first offer from Lawrence Tech.

2019 WR/OLB Max Nicklin is a lengthy 6'2 190 lbs receiver prospect who can catch a lot of balls in his range.

2019 DE/LB Jay’viar Suggs is a 6'1 215 lbs prospect who moves great for his size and is physical with good versatility.

2019 CB/RB/ATH Jake Honstetter is a 5'11 190 lbs versatile player who does everything for the Wolves after previously playing at Holly. The 4-year varsity starter has a Division II offer from Colorado School of Mines.

2019 WR Joey Steger is a 6'2 180 lbs possession receiver for the Wolves who is a nice vertical threat as well.

2019 LB Brendan Barker is a solid LB prospect at 6' 190 lbs who closes gaps well and is a sure-tackler.

2020 WR/DB Zach Reid is 6' 160 lbs and is an upcoming prospect who runs routes well and is a good blocker. Defensively he's really come on his own this year and has good technique.

2020 WR Matt Miller is a 5'10 160 lbs receiver who runs crisp routes and has good ball-skills.

2019 RB Jake Billette is a nice physical and strong RB for the Wolves.

Oak Park:

2019 QB Dwan Mathis is the #13 ranked prospect in the class of 2019, as the Ohio State commit had a nice summer, competing in the Nike Elite 11 and is a quarterback with elite athleticism.

2019 RB/CB Torriano Richardson is the #76 ranked prospect in the class of 2019, as Richardson is a speedy prospect who has drawn some MAC offers but remains uncommitted.

2020 OL/DL/LB Justin Rogers is the #1 ranked prospect by The D Zone in the Class of 2020 as Rogers is just a freak athlete at 6'4 305 lbs. Rogers also started playing MLB for the Knights this season, which is mind-blowing. Rogers currently holds 40 offers.

2020 WR/DB Enzo Jennings is the #6 ranked prospect in the Class of 2020 by The D Zone. Jennings who is 6'2 190 lbs is ranked as one of the best ATH's in the country as well as he holds offers from schools like: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, and Big 10 offers.

2020 WR/TE Maliq Carr is the #19 ranked prospect in the class of 2020 as Carr is a great athlete with 6'5 215 lbs size, which makes him a player you need to account for pre-snap and worry about his length. Carr is a dual-sport so he's also a superior athlete and it shows.

2020 DT Don Price is a high-motored 6' 300 lbs DT prospect and is ranked by The D Zone as the #40 prospect by The D Zone in the class of 2020. Price is a player who should continue to draw much more interest.

2019 WR Savontae Tyler is a very solid receiver prospect who always makes plays. Tyler is 6'3.

2019 CB Corion Montgomery is a long and lengthy prospect who is committed to Davenport and was a priority recruit for them.

2021 RB Travis Boston is an upcoming RB prospect forming a solid RB trio. Boston will be a 4-year varsity contributor for the Knights.

2019 RB Phillip Stewart is a gritty 5'8 160 lbs runningback who has held nothing back as a senior this year. Stewart has become one of the biggest home-run threat runningbacks in Oakland County.
