Cranbrook rolls Cabrini 56-7, QB McConnell has a 4 TD day.
The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes (4-1) (1-0) defeated in the Allen Park Cabrini Monarchs (3-2)(0-2) in their CHSL divisional opener. This is the fourth straight win over Cabrini by Cranbrook.
“I was proud of our boys playing well today,” says Cranes Head Coach Joe D’Angelo. “Coming of a tough loss last week, we wanted to focus on preparing for each remaining game. We did a good job today.”
Senior QB Trevor McConnell finished with 7 for 11 with 191 yards and 4 TD’s. Junior WR Torrell Williams led the receivers with 3 receptions for 69 yards and 1 TD. Sophomore RB Tariq Muhammad led the rushers with 3 carries for 79 yards and 2 TD’s. Senior RB Aaron Wiggins had 1 TD reception and 1 TD rushing.
Junior LB Conner Toomey had 9 tackles and Senior DE Chris Smith had 8.5 tackles and 2 TFL’s. K Pierson Cooke went 7 for 7 on PAT’s.
