The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes lost a tough road game to the Bishop Foley Ventures 53-46 yesterday. Bishop Foley sweeps the head-to-head series against Cranbrook for the 2021-2022 season with the win.
Junior John Kersh had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, with junior Evan Evans adding 15 points the effort for the Cranes.
Junior Luke Decker led the Ventures with 19 points, with junior Jackson Zeiter adding 12 points in the win.
Bishop Foley held on to a 24-20 lead at the half in the CHSL Intersectional I matchup, building momentum in the second quarter with big 3-point shooting.
That momentum continued after half time, with the Ventures posting a 16-point third quarter to expand their lead.
Cranbrook got several layups to tighten the game in the fourth quarter, but the Cranes could not overcome the Venture lead for the victory.
The Cranes move on to face Royal Oak Shrine at home in CHSL prep action on Thursday.
