Cranbrook falters against Royal Oak Shrine 50-31.
The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes fell 50-31 to the Royal Oak Shrine Knights on the road last night.
Junior John Kersh led the Cranes with 9 points in the loss.
Senior Stephen Ruhle led the Knights with 16 points, with senior Ben Plunkey assisting with 12 in the victory.
The Cranes pulled out to an early 23-15 lead at the half way mark with many shots along the baseline.
But the Knights over took the lead in the 3rd quarter with a blistering 21-point performance. They would cruise to victory with a strong effort in the 4th quarter.
Shrine made 40% of their 3-point shots, being nearly perfect from the corners.
Cranbrook continues its CHSL schedule with a game at Riverview Gabriel Richard on Friday, while Shrine hosts Cardinal Mooney that same day.
