Cranbrook clipped by Cardinal Mooney 68-66 in late quarter rally.
The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes lost to the Marine City Cardinal Mooney Cardinals 68-66 last night.
Junior Evan Evans led the Cranes with 26 points, while Brandon McCaskill added 14 points in support.
Junior Trent Rice led the Cardinals with 17 points, with junior Dominic Cattivera adding a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds in the victory.

Cranbrook pushed to the advantage early, jumping out to a 35-28 lead at half time. McCaskill and Evans led the way with a combination of 3-point shooting and jump shots. Evans went 7-for-7 in shots beyond the arc in the contest.
But the Cardinals staged a second half comeback, posting a late rally in the 4th quarter. Cattivera scored the winning shot in the final minute to seal the victory.
Cranbrook continues its CHSL schedule hosting a game against Royal Oak Shrine on Thursday, while Cardinal Mooney travels to Bishop Foley on Friday.
