Bloomfield Hills stuns West Bloomfield in Round 1 of playoffs (From earlier in the week)

The Blackhawks stunned the Lakers in round 1 of the MHSAA Districts, winning 44-40 in a defensive battle. After only scoring 12 points in the first half, the Blackhawks mounted a 7-0 run to start the 3rd quarter and never looked back, battling the Lakers until the final possession. Jayden Redeemer hit 6 free throws in the final minutes for Bloomfield Hills, securing the upset win. Joe Hecker And Taylor Canfield also contributed greatly for the Blackhawks, while Tre Mosley scored 14 points and Jalen Kelso had 10 points for the Lakers.
