Division 5 Round 4 Overview: West Catholic looks to win their 5th straight state title which would match what East Grand Rapids did from 2006-2010 when they won 5th Division 3 titles. Swan Valley or Reed City will be playing to be at Ford Field for the first time in school history.

Semi-Final #1:
The D Zone had the rare opportunity to see 3 of the 4 Division 5 games on Saturday afternoon. Reed City was phenomenal vs. powerhouse Menominee as they led 44-26 in the 4th quarter. Phillip Jones was incredible as he exceeded 2,200 rushing yards and a state high 36 rushing touchdowns among Runningbacks. Swan Valley exploited Oakridge in every aspect of the game with a balanced passing and rushing offense that put the game out of reach quickly.
Prediction: Swan Valley 38-34
Explanation: Reed City had problems defending the pass this past week while Swan Valley was clicking on a balanced attack. Reed City has the front 7 to make the plays and pull off a minor upset though.
