Goodrich 2021 WR/CB/RB Tyson Davis tied an MHSAA record with a 99 yard kickoff return for a touchdown vs. Corunna in the 4th quarter on Friday to extend their lead to 28-19.
99 yards is the longest possible yardage for a returnable kickoff in Michigan. If the ball crosses the goal line it is a touchback so 100+ yards for a kickoff return under the MHSAA rules is prohibited.
